Milford High School Career Counseling Program
The Milford High School (MHS) Career Counseling Program, integrated into the MHS School and Career Counseling Program, is designed to prepare students for successful careers by following the Career Development Education framework as outlined by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The program is structured around three key areas: Awareness, Exploration, and Immersion.
The MHS Career Counseling Program aims to:
- Increase Awareness: Help students become aware of the vast array of career opportunities available and the steps needed to pursue them.
- Enhance Exploration: Provide in-depth exploration of personal interests and career options, ensuring students are well-prepared to make informed decisions.
- Support Immersion: Equip students with practical work experience and skills, preparing them for successful transitions into the workforce or further education.
This program is designed to support students at every stage of their career development journey, ensuring they are prepared for a successful future.

The MHS Career Counseling Program is coordinated by the Career Counselor, who works in conjunction with the School Counselors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
