Advanced Placement

Milford High School: Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement (AP) program at Milford High School provides students with an exceptional opportunity to challenge themselves academically and prepare for college-level coursework. With over 20 AP courses to choose from, students can explore a wide range of subjects that align with their interests and future goals.

By enrolling in AP classes, students will:

  • enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • have the chance to earn college credit, which can save time and money in higher education;
  • have the opportunity to earn AP Scholar Awards to strengthen college applications and resumes.

At the end of each AP course, students are required to take the corresponding AP exam, which determines eligibility for college credit based on their performance. It is important to note that there is a cost associated with each AP exam, and students and their families are responsible for covering these fees. Our AP program is designed to equip students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed academically and beyond.

If you are looking to make a payment, please use this link here. Payments should be made under the “Guidance” tab.

If you have any questions about what AP courses might be a good fit for your student, please reach out to your student’s school counselor. For questions about the AP program, testing or payments, please contact the AP Coordinators:
