The MHS School & Career Counseling Department is dedicated to supporting and helping our students navigate their high school career to acquire the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions, explore opportunities, and live successful and fulfilling lives. We believe in equity and access for all students. Our goal is to help students to understand themselves in relation to their goals, abilities, and interests. A fundamental component of a student's academic, career and social/emotional development, the School & Career Counseling Department encourages students to become lifelong learners and good citizens who value diversity.
Student Success & Career Readiness Tools
Aspen Family & Student Portal supports the goals of Milford Public Schools to engage students and their families and provide opportunities for communication. Providing information for parents, guardians and students about student performance serves the school system’s goal of maximizing individual student achievement and enhanced relationships within our community.
ImBlaze is a work-based learning platform designed to connect students with real-world internship and career opportunities. It allows students to explore potential career paths, apply for internships, and track their experiences, all in one easy-to-use platform.
Naviance is one of the most helpful online tools for Milford High School students. Guidance provides this tool to students for career and college exploration, scholarships, and other useful information. Students create their own individual account in Naviance, allowing them to research colleges or careers they may be interested in, and they can save pertinent information to their account, create resumes, activity lists and much more!
